The production technology of this modern facility was completely renovated in 2005\u20132007.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition of Sisu Diesel made by the US AGCO Corporation and the associated investments \u2013 tens of millions of euros \u2013 have made AGCO Power one of the world\u2019s leading makers of diesel engines. In 2008 Sisu Diesel was branded as AGCO SISU POWER and in 2012 the company was renamed into AGCO Power.<\/p>\n<p>The plant&#8217;s manufacturing capacity is more than 50 000 diesel engines annually and has approximately 700 employees.<\/p>\n<p>AGCO Power supplies the engines to many of the world\u2019s leading manufacturers of tractors and other farm machinery. At that time, the engine had to be a local make and Valmet chose MWM as its partner. The first delivery of 50 Complete Build Up (CBU) 420 DS engines was made for Valmet 985S models in 1993. Current production capacity is approximately 30 000 engines annually. Production in this plant started in 2012 and moved in 2015 to the new AGCO Changzhou premises.<\/p>\n<p>In Changzhou AGCO Power produces 3 and 4 cylinder medium duty engines in power range 70 \u2013 130 hp.
